Incredible stay at The Bate House! 10s across the board. Matthew is such a kind and bona fide host. Stayed over for three nights and was deeply reluctant to leave. Such an oasis of terrific hospitality and a place to bring out your most authentic self.

Fantastic stay! An immaculate home and a wonderful host made for a great weekend get-a-way. Matthew's home is spacious, the rooms are spotless and appointed with all the things that make for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space is ample as well, with space to relax and nap or to hang out with the other guests and socialize. You can make it what you want. Everything is right where it needs to be.

We loved our comfortable king-sized bed in this amply proportioned room which also had nuanced lighting and great closets. Matt was an open, present, and extremely accommodating host and we expect his gay nudetopia will take off in a big way. It’s essentially a David Hockney painting writ large with a welcomingly reduced visual palette and soothingly mind-clearing rhythm of sun, soaking, and scrolling for whatever surprises might fly over or arise within the 60s walls of this charmingly retro compound. Our only warning would be to come before it’s overbooked.

From start to finish, Matthew is a top notch host! His description of the home and what he is offering is exactly what he describes it to be. I instantly felt at home in the space. The pool and hot tub and big backyard, completely private, was my favorite part about the place. Overall I felt like I was staying at a boutique hotel. I had everything I needed to be cozy and rejuvenated. I look forward to my next stay at the Bate House!

Matthew's house is clean, fun, and has a very relaxed atmosphere. it is really nicely decorated and there is lots of room to have privacy or hang with others. There are also lots of ways to relax from the hot tub, the pool or just lounging. I'd stay here again in an instant. Matthew is a great host.

I loved my stay at the bate house! He really has thought of every last need you may have, from extra towels, to toiletries, to a nice comfy bath robe. The coffee in the morning was delicious and communicating with him is a breeze. The mattress was amazing - I loved it so much I asked him to send me the brand so I can buy one for my house! Five stars all around.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the bate house and cannot recommend it highly enough! Matthew stands out as an exceptionally kind and thoughtful host, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. He pays attention to detail in every aspect of the stay, from the wonderful decor that made the space feel welcoming and cozy, to all the little touches that made it a delightful stay. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the location was great and very easy to get to. The highlight was undoubtedly the outdoor space - the pool and hot tub were immaculate and the backyard overall provided the perfect oasis for relaxation. The other guests there were all really great guys, and it was an all around pleasant environment together.
